My Carl Thompson Thread.

Topics about musical instruments other than guitar should go here. There's bound to be a Carter, LeRoi, or Yo-Yo Ma out there.

I don't think I'm ever going to be able to own a non-custom bass soon... Here's my dream arsenal so far that I'll be working on acquiring for many years.

Carl Thompson 4-string, 36" scale
Birdsong Sadhana 4, 31" scale
Cliff Bordwell 6-string (fretted or fretless has yet to be determined)

the CB basses look pretty sweet. I think what I want is

my current warwick corvette 4 string
warwick dolphin pro I 4 string
pedulla pentabuzz (5 string fretless)
carl thompson 4,5,6 string (probably not custom order, but I'd like to own one to round my collection)
Fender american deluxe jazz bass 4 string
Birdsong Sadhana 4
modulus flea 5 string (or 4 string)
zon michael manring 4 string fretless

If I can compile all that, I can die a very happy man.

So you had soup with this dude, and hung out with him and all.. and its still gonna take him a couple of years to finish your one bass (albeit a very shweet machine of a bass) .. I don't get it.. Nevermind, its a CT, i'm sure his waiting list is would be longer than a compilation of all the toilet paper i've used in my lifetime

I don't even remember posting it. I was just going through all the topics I made the other day and came across it.

I really wanna top it, but there be no point to it. Though a large number of posts in that thread beg me to reply.
