i don't know about the drums but i learned how to play guitar from guitar for dummies. you should look at drums for dummies and see if it's any good.

I have a shitty one, I find they are mostly for advanced or pure beginners...no happy medium between novice and pro's

oh yeah...well thats a very entertaining video, but not very informative as far as the instructional value goes. Pretty much just carter showing off and talking bout his drumming and the band.
