vic and carter making music

Topics about musical instruments other than guitar should go here. There's bound to be a Carter, LeRoi, or Yo-Yo Ma out there.

ok i am bad at doing this code thing and makin tabs but i got time so here i go.

Code: Select all

this is the general idea of that vic solo on the dvd. what he plays there is his part(plus the spiffy additions for the solo version) of the song Reminiscence on the Flecktones cd Little Worlds.

Note: Vic uses his tenor bass tuned ADGC, but since most people do not own a tenor bass, i have tabbed in standard, so its everything that would be played on the tenor bass, but five frets higher onto the standard tuning.

Verse (opening part on Little Worlds version)
G---------------16----14---------------14-----14--------------16-17-14--------------14-16-12-
D------------------14----------------------12--------------------------------------------------
A--17-15-14-15------------15-14-12-14-------------17-15-14-15-----------15-14-12-14---------
E----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pre-chorus (:24 on Little Worlds version)
G-------7-7-------------7-7------------7-|
D--9-10-----10-9---9-10----10-9---9-10---| (play twice)
A----------------------------------------|
E------------7-------------8-----------10----|

G------7-7-----------7-9-9-7----7-9-10--------12-12-14-16-14---(fiddle)
D--9-10----10-9---10---------10---------------------------------------
A---------------------------------------------------------------------
E------------7--------------8----------10-----------------------------

Chorus (:45 on Little Worlds version) the low string parts here are tough
G--12-12-12-12-14-16------------12-12-12-12-14-16-17-16-14-16-|
D--------------------10-10-9----------------------------------|
A--10---------------------------10----------------15-14-------|
E---------------------8-7-------------------------------------|

G--12-12-12-12-14-16------------7-7-7-7-9-11-12---------------|
D--------------------10-10-9----------------------------------|
A--10---------------------------------------------------------|
E--------------------8-7--------------------------------------|

ok thats what i got. if someone could check me thatd be great cuz it sounds right to me but i cant play it as smooth as vic can so i cant get a great feel of if its perfect
