Good songs for bongo's

Topics about musical instruments other than guitar should go here. There's bound to be a Carter, LeRoi, or Yo-Yo Ma out there.

Good songs for bongo's

Unread post by mlb1399 » Mon Apr 11, 2005 3:30 pm

I don't know exactly where I should have posted this but I'll give it a go here. I have a buddy that played drums for 13 years and hasn't played since college who is going to buy some bongo's to jam with myself and another guitar player. Can you guys think of any songs that bongo's would sound good with, both DMB and n-DMB.

Here are a few that I came up with which are pretty obvious:
Warehouse
TwoStep
Burn One Down
Jane Says

Thanks!

Try something unexpected, could turn out cool
Our Lady Peace did clumsy with just bongos and guitar, turned out great.

I guess I should probably narrow this one down a little bit: I would say music that is maybe somewhat recognizable. Thanks for the help so far.
