big foot(flecktones-wooten)

Topics about musical instruments other than guitar should go here. There's bound to be a Carter, LeRoi, or Yo-Yo Ma out there.

big foot(flecktones-wooten)

Unread post by i am sam2 » Sat Sep 25, 2004 9:45 pm

ok the song Big Foot by bela fleck and the Flecktones, ive been listening to Live Art Disc 1 a lot recently(the first five songs are really all ive gotten thru its so good) anyway, i was wondering if anyone has a general idea of what notes vic is playing on Big Foot(track 5) at 2:57 into the song. it goes up high and its a very godly like sound so i was wondering if anyone knew the notes, i can get close but its got that certain vic tone so i dont know if its right. tabs are encouraged if you have them. thanks

thanks.

on another note, does anyone have maybe a list of songs or a website that tells all the songs released on flecktones CDs that are not original flecktones stuff? cuz a lot of stuff sounds so familiar, certain riffs, etc.

dang thats a cool site. but a question, the songs listed under each album name when you click Songs at the top, these are originals? i wouldnt ask this question but the number of songs on live art was like 5 at this site and the real cd has like 22 or something

Because they are all on released albums. the ones on live art on that site are the only ones played exclusivley live.
