loop machine

Topics about musical instruments other than guitar should go here. There's bound to be a Carter, LeRoi, or Yo-Yo Ma out there.

You can still loop processed sounds if it's before the effects. The looped stuff just gets sent to the effects after it is looped, and still goes through the process as if it were unlooped sound getting effects'ed.

Get it?

yeah thats what i was thinking mike. i actually wasnt sure if the effect was before the looper if the looper would still loop with the effect. so i guess it doesnt matter.

how about noise reduction? anything i can do to avoid this? cuz i really dont like it going thru three different things, which is probably 1/3 of a setup some of you guys have, but overall i prefer not to have effects at all...any hints on keeping the extra noise level down? and does going thru more pedals create a lack of response compared to goin directly from bass to amp, for example?

Indeed. But then you can't change the delay time or anything on your pedals that's after the looper if you want to keep the loop the same.

And a Wahwah after the looper... not a good idea. Then you have to drive it the same every time the loop is played.
