i would love to test drive one of those things, but i agree it looks very difficult. The low action is pretty sweet though.

Greg Howard has played MANY times w/ the Dave Matthews Band in case all you are wondering. Here's a list of all his appearances....enjoy!

I found this thing :D IDEA THIEF and I am going to buy one, but they're mad expensive. Watch the video's its physically not hard to play, but adjusting to VERY odd tunings will be rough. Plus i dont know of two people who play stick that use the same tuning. Stickist.com for forums if you want to learn more
