Stefan at the end of Crash

I just need a bit of advice with what Stefan is doing at the end of Crash
The band is doing G# A B E in the end of Crash, chord wise

Before Dave goes "Craaaaash into me", Stefan does a different bass tab

Its sounds exactly like

....that is BEFORE Dave goes "Craaash into me" Its basically everything including and up to the Dixie Chicken outro

But then Dave goes into "Craaaaash into me", and Stefan does a different ending while in G#

Keep following me... I know its a bit confusing

So what I want to know is which is the correct bass line Fonz plays at the END of Crash (the "Craaaash into me " part) while the band is playing G#
