Yeah, not only are they beautiful, but they also play better and sound better then those dern Martins. And unlike Martin, a company content to sit on its laurels, Taylor actually goes out and tries to really improve what it does: new necks, new amplification stuff, etc.

Yeah, I did. There's a security risk with this version of phpBB, where folks can do some bad stuff with HTML.

For the time being, we disabled html, as all relevant functionality is duplicated through BBCode. So use the little buttons at the top of the reply window, and all will be fine.

The Taylors that I have play great but by far my favorite is the 514ce. Playability is great ,looks great and sounds great. I have had a couple of martins before but I have never played a martin that could compare with a Taylor in my opinion.

martin... i hear that word and another word comes to mind... crap. they lowered their standards for guitars just to make them more marketable. if i could get an old martin that would be different, but the new martins dont deserve to be compared to the great taylors :P

I've got a GREAT idea. How about we all beat this old dead horse.....TILL IT'S MORE DEAD!!! I think we can all agree that this agruement will never be won by either side. It's personal preference. The Taylors I have played are amazing....but I like the more bassy, louder sound of a Martin. It's personal preference....oh well
