OK Sorry but...D-16RGT or D-17

For those who have played both I would like to know your opinions. I have a D-15 and I am looking to upgrade. I still want to stay in the Martin line and I can only drop about 1100 on this upcoming guitar so if anyone wants to buy a D-15 in great shape played for almost a year then let me know, but more importantly let me know what you think about the other guitars. Thanks in advance.

if im not mistaken the D-17 = D-15 + bracing? if its a martin you want then go for the D-16RGT, but if you can drop $1100 and by upgrade you mean trade in + the $1100, check out some Taylors. you can get a new african mahogany (which isnt actually african mahogany) 300 series, ovangkol 400, mahogany 500, maple 600, rosewood/ceder or englemann 700, or a beautiful rosewood/sitka 800. youd want an x10 model for a dread (which would be revoiced 500+ series)

if you wanna know more, just lemme know and ill be glad to help.

Unfortunately 1100 is the bottom line and while I appreciate the Taylor plug and am definately used to it (most of my friends are Taylor-lovers) I just like the Martin tone more. You are right about the bracing it is different but I didnt know how much it affects tone or sound or anything like that. Thanks again.
