Recommend $600-700 acousitc...
I was looking at either a new/used Taylor or Martin in that price range. Any recommendations on those two brands? Sorry this question has probably been asked alot.

I have to agree with Andy on this one, $600 isn't going to get much of anything on the Taylor side of the spectrum.andyrice_13 wrote:You're not gonna get much of a taylor for 600-700.
I don't have a whole lot of experience with martins in that range... Just don't get anything with an "x" in it.
I would have to agree with this statement though. Can't say for personal experience, but I have heard much good things about the D-15 than complaints. So I would invest in this.crash_in_to_me wrote:d15
Outside of that, I don't think that I have any other ideas, unless you wanted to try Takamine's. Not bad guitars, just my opinion though. Hope this helps

check out the D-15 Limited Edition, it comes with a sitka spruce top instead of the all mahogany... It looks like it will sound a lot better, cuz i don't really dig anything about the all mahogany, besides that its all wood throughout

I have said it before but check out the 03 series from Larrivee. They aren't anything fancy but for the price range your working with you probably aren't gonna be getting a bunch of inlay and stuff. I have never played one but I have heard good things about the Atlas series from Breedlove and they are in your price range.

dx-1 is an excellent guitar. i own one...it's got great sound, everything is perfect. it's convinced me to buy more martins. they list for around 700 but you can get one between 5 and 6.

It's overpriced. Their guitars are inconsistent
