So I got a nice shiny new guitar...

A Martin OMC-15E. I have a pretty funny story about getting it.

I went to Guitar Center with my dad, and didn't really see anything good in my 800-900 dollar range. We were about to leave, but the manager happened to walk in. My dad pointed to a couple of guitars high up and asked if we could play them. One was the Martin.

It's a lot more beautiful than in the picture. It has a darker finish/stain, and is very nice to look at. Anyway, the list is $1500. GC sells it for 1050. It was on sale for 800. I ended up getting it for 722 and change.

Plus, on the way out, I saw Les Paul. How cool is that? The sound on this guitar is great, plugged in or not. Just thought I'd share.

FYI... Prices at Guitar Center are almost always "open to negotiation". I've negotiated on numerious occasions on items ranging from instruments to pro audio.

Yes, the Les Paul. I went to the Totowa, NJ Guitar Center. He was apparently heading in for some after-hours jam session. (He lives in Mahwah.)

Pulling that off? It was the end of year sale (ended the day I went). I was pretty amazed myself.

I'll try to record some sound so you can hear...it's almost perfect.

LMAO, remember hardcore guitar fans, nutrition is the most important part of your day. Don't miss it doing something stupid like jamming with a guitar legend or something like that.

I don't know...I don't have that. I don't have any Coldplay, actually.
