Unread post by djs488 » Fri Jan 03, 2003 2:50 pm

i have a washburn acoustic w/ no electric pickup. can they be installed? i have heard about the fishman matrix series and wondered about them. can u add these into a regular acoustic, or do you have to be replacing an old pickup? Thanks.

I believe they can be installed in any accoustic, but I would have a guitar shop do it for you so that you don't have to drill it yourself if it needs it!

i just thought those separate pickups that go in the hole look kinda dumb, and probly dont get the same sound that a built-in one would get. am i right?
