Gibsons....

Does anyone like the Gibson jumbo acoustics? My friend has a J-185 and I think it sounds great, maple back and sides, spruce top. Or is this a taylor dictatorship?

The J200 is a very amazing sounding guitar , which is also used on alot of studio recordings , and also known as the Elvis guitar ;)

I actualy like gibson's jumbos more than their dreadnaughts. The only thing I don't like on some are the bridge, the way it curves up and makes it look more western, youc ould say. Look at them if you don't know what I mean.

I believe they do that becuase the jumbo's are often associated more w/ country music. While obviously you don't need to play country to play the guitar......they are def associated w/ it

oh, so you guys don't like country? I guess if you go to a D&F tour date, you will hate the opening act. Emmy Lou Harris is country. Also, so is Johnny Cash. Better show up late for the D&F date.
