BOSS DD-6 Effect Pedal

Unread post by tjmac66pc » Tue Nov 18, 2003 9:13 am

I just got this effect pedal and it's insane! vocals and guitar, it is a fantastic digital delay effects pedal! much recommended! Howie Day uses the DD-5 (he may have upgraded), but this one is top of the line

DL4 is better for looping, DD6 is better for delays.

but they have a lot of overlap between the two.

the DD-6 costs about $150-$160... if you really really search the net, you may be able to find one for $130-$140, but keep in mind shipping costs as well

i've bought all my effects pedals off ebay and all but one were new and all were almost 50% off the cover price. Ebay is the way to go. just make sure the person you are buying from has good reviews and standing.

well put...I have both, but when you want to loop and delay at the same time, then both come in handy

Timmy used a DD-5 for a while, and I think he uses a DD-6 now.

he used to have two DD5's and now he has only one and a DD6 in it's place. for the longer looping time. and the muted direct sound on reverse.
