Chris Martin's guitars?

Unread post by Reckless » Mon Nov 10, 2003 3:48 pm

Chris Martin of Coldplay used to play a Tak, but now he plays a Martin. Anyone know which model Tak he used, and which model Martin he uses now?

I have several videos where he's playing a Takamine EAN15, but I' haven't seen him playing a Martin so I can't help you there.

I think they still make the ean15, I've seen a few around. I actually own the cutaway version. They have the ean16 listed on the website (the spruce top version), so I would imagine you could still get one. They have changed the rosette though. The old ones like Chris played has a black "spoke" like (does that make sense?) painted on rosette. I've seen them on ebay for about 400-450. They're a lot of bang for the buck.
