Mini Amps?

Unread post by GSR » Tue Nov 04, 2003 2:23 pm

you guys ever hear of these things? i was just wonderin, like always, because as much as i like my acoustic bass, i prefer my electric over it, and it'd be sweet to have a mini amp to bring to the beach and stuff. i checked musiciansfriend.com, and they have a few, i'm talking about amps, not the headphone thingers. i wonder if they work for both guitar/bass...here's one thats cheap and well rated from fender:

all info is appreciated, as usual.

I don't like that amp. If you want a good sounding portable amp that runs on AA batterys, get this

I have this pignose. My dad actualy recommended it. It is a good sound, and very portable. It's light, small, and sounds good. This is good, if you get any portable amp, either get the Pignose or the Hog (one step up).

Found it that it didn't give me the warm sound I wanted, and wasn't someitng I would take with me quickly. The pignose just is easy, quick, clear, and very portable. Try one, they are very good, I think.
