Hey, I have alot of expierience with takamines, so here goes: Takamine was one of the first companies to make a really good acoustic/electric in the world. Alot of big name artists swear by them. The eagles are all about tak's, so is bruce springsteen, toby keith, Steve warner, and the guy writing this reply. I play a takamine PT106 and it has served me well over the last two years. The sound is good, but different than that of a taylor or a martin. Tak's have this really warm sound to them, so they make really good strumming guitars. There not so hot for travis and finger picking though. There electronics are really solid, and the one on the guitar you are looking at has an onboard tuner! Thats pretty cool if you ask me! The price sounds about right, play it and see what you think. I know mine has some problems with drop tunings and fret buzz on the low end, so Im thinking of movin on to the big leagues (taylor all the way!) Thats about it though. Sorry for the incredible length of this reply, I just get all excited when I see a Tak on the boards.
