im lookin to buy a new guitar and im goin to play all the martins and taylors and to trade in my two guitars...a takamine ean40c and an epiphone chet. anybody recommend lookin at anything else while im there?? thanks

If they have some take a look at Larrivee too...they make great guitars and are a little less than Taylor. Great sound though.

I am glad I don't know of these places, or have any of them around here. Those GC stores sound horrible. Do you guys have to go there? Do you not have ANY independant music shops?

Sam ash is crap compared to GC.. anyway the only local music stores i have is Black Horse Music, and they only have about.. 10 guitars, the rest is violins and such.. and Old Towne Music, which deals with used guitars and all other instruments.. i got my 1st guitar there, was $100 electric Carlo Robelli with a big crack down the middle.. lol

u can't go wrong... i started off as a HUGE Martin fan, then got into Taylor a lot... both are great guitars and its just all in personal preference.. if i had 2K and went into GC, I couldn't tell ya what brand of guitar i came out with

when i'm an old man (45) and have finished paying off my school loans, I will probably get one of each cuz I just love the highs of the Taylor's, but I also love the warm bass of the Martins

Ok I realize this is totally off topic but I just realized where Appsoldier goes to school (guess I never really looked). Anyway. App do you know a guy named Fletcher McNeil hes about 6'6 and has decently long red hair. Really lanky. ?
