Soooooo many Taylors

i went to Apalachain Bluegrass in Baltimore today...i had heard they were one of the biggest taylor dealers but DAAAAMN

they had 2 LTD 700's with grafted walnut (o man i wish i had some $)...a W65, a couple braz 800's, a maple presentation series, a bunch of 4, 5, and 600 LTDs, a few 914s, and this sweet K14. wow. wow. i played the 710 L1 because i had never played grafted walnut (sounds amazing), and the presentation series for about 2 seconds, but then i started worrying it would fall apart in my hands since i have bad luck, and i had left my wallet 6 grand in small bills in my other pants....

the guys in there are awesome too...i mentioned i wanted to learn mandolin and this guy was like "well come here" and he practically gave me a free mandolin lesson. it hurts my brain to play it but i think i will get one soon.

but damn i've never seen so many taylors....anyone live near this place? next guitar i buy, i might make a trip to get it here. awesome selection, the people are great...

excuse me while i go shoot myself in the face.... i dont own one, and i dont get to play LTDs/PS/K/W because of my stupid guitar shops.... im gonna go cry :cry:

I played 2 Lakewoods today. Nicer than any guitars I've played (Taylors and Martins).

Are you the same Shane the taylor forum, I remember the post where people were giving you job suggestions to raise money for a Taylor. I thought that thread was pretty funny.

turn 16 next year, but that doesnt matter. i just cant get a job due to circumstances beyond my control.

thats rough, having a job while in college sucks too... i don't have one (which is why i haven't changed my strings since Aug.), but my two roomates do and they can't stand it...one gets home at 10 and the other 5am, thats rough

hey, do dealer sell 914ce, or do you gotta order them. Ive been allover to see how much a 914 costs and to play one, but no luck. I might get one if I like it too

unless its an awesome taylor (ie not GC or sam ash or other big store) than you need to special order them..

most of the time you have to special order it through a dealer. taylor doesnt do direct sales.

damn!oh well, I got lots of money to get a 914ce. I guess I gotta order it. I hate ordering, they never get the date correctly and it is always at least 2 weeks late
