Unread post by Kragh » Sun Oct 19, 2003 4:17 pm

If you dont know, 214 is newer taylor model for people with less money! YAH! It cost about 750 (800 is my price range) with case from Guitar Center, though I havent even got to try it yet, have any of you? Ever since my uncle got his 414 Ive been in love with taylors, but of course I cant afford that kind. Im just looking to upgrade to a very good, but not to pricey, a acoustic-electric guitar.

I had a similar situation to you. I bought mine from Guitar Center and it costed about what you have listed there. I like mine so far. Much better than my old one, but I still like to play the old one sometimes :)

I played on the other day... As for sound it is amazing, great tone all around very good on the bass end. As for quality of the guitar. I really though it was going to break in my hand. It felt very strange. The neck was very wide too. For that pirce just pick up a Martin 00-16r? i think is the model number. Its rosewood GA very solid.
