I'm buying this. It's coming next week. I vowed against the OM-28 JM and found this beauty and had to buy it. Image Are you drooling yet? You Should be?

lol I know not a bad price either (3300) and it was discontinued like 2 years ago. I decided against the OM-28 JM because his new cd sucks and he seems to be going nowhere but down. At least Knopfler has made his place in guitar. Hes definetly one of the top 10 players. Plus I think its just gorgeus and I'm also getting top of the line Fishman Pick-uips factory installed. Now, I just need to save up 3500 more and get a DM3MD.

yes it is limited they made 251 I think I'm getting #90 I think.

Point well taken. Who the fuck points a symbol from their watch on their custom guitar? Fuckin freak. I like his old stuff but his new stuff sucks my left nut. Then he makes 404 because thats the area code Ludacris used in that one rap song. DAMN YOU MAYER WAKE THE FUCK UP AND SMELL THE MAPLE CRUNCH (for the Leary fans)

people w/ money suck ass. :cry: i want a pretty martin. mine's kinda normal. Hey Dave Matthews, wanna donate one of your guitars to the poor college kid foundation of America. (notably my chapter)

Hey its not like I woke up and had 3500 to spend on a guitar I've been working and saving up since before summer. 7 dollars an hour takes a while to add up let me tell u especially when youb gotta pay car insurance and other luxuries that you have.

Hey man where did you get such a big pic of that guitar? I'm only wondering because I just recently went to that site and found some really nice pics of other guitars but I forgot to bookmark it. If Hendrix can't remember the site, do any of you other guys know where to get high resolution pics of Martin and/or Taylor guitars????

Are you referring to just the Mayer sig, or OM-28s in general? For if it is the latter, I smite you with my sinewy right hand!

OM-28's are just stunning. It's the only Martin that I've ever played that REALLY bowled me over. I've played the D-28's and D-35's and they're definitely GREAT guitars, but, oh, when I played a OM-28-v, it was magic. That's definitely my favorite Martin so far.
