Just wondering what you guys thought about this guitar and how it compares to the Gibson version. Two seperate topics there.

Me, personally, having played both (not played well on the Gibson, because I'm a lefty) they don't have THAT much difference. Sure, the Gibson has the stars on the fretboard, and no knobs on tob, but other than that...I haven't noticed anything major. the Gibson sounds a *bit* better plugged in, because Epi put cheap electronics in it..

Gibson is better than Epiphone always. No doubt about it. I've never played an Epiphone that I liked.

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

First of all, do a search, Ive started so many conversations about this. Anyway, It depends on your budjet of course, the gibson cost a pretty penny and the epi is rather cheap(400-500). Luckily, I got my chet for a incredible deal that is still a wonder to me($790 plus mowing his lawn). Ive played a epi version and it still sounds pretty good to me. I dont know why these guys think that you need to have the perfect guitar to play good music. Also, the gibson version is what I got and Im loving it every moment. Its so divine and so elequent(drool, drool). Actually, firedancer86 is selling his at a awsome price so id but it if I were you :D
