Picking up where the 110 leaves off, the Grand Auditorium-shaped 214 employs solid sapele back and sides to capture that signature Taylor tone. The full-scale body is crowned with a solid Sitka spruce top, large pearloid fingerboard dot inlays, and comes standard with a hardshell case. Additional features like black fiber binding and an inlaid white fiber soundhole rosette add up to one of the best values in premium acoustic guitars.

...that is according to Taylor...seems real awesome to me...same setup as the 3 series only with less fancy appointments...and has a Grand Auditorium as opposed to the 110 dread body...the 2 is full sized legit Taylor...probably (PURE GUESS based on the price os the 1 and 3 series) has a price of less than $900...

the 214 doesnt have the NT neck either. it looks like a steal and you could probably get it for $600-700

The 100 and 200 series have thinner necks than the 300+ series.

He probably means guitar center cuz you probably won't be able to find a used one since they just came out.

no
"Forget about what you are escaping from," he said, quoting an old maxim of Kornblum's. "Reserve your anxiety for what you are escaping to."

they probably wont make a 214ce although a 214e might be expected...

the 110 and 214 were made so that people who dont know what to look for wouldnt have to make those choices.. thats why theres no 112, 114, 115, 155, 210, 212, 215, 255.
