I don't need any hardware...

Just software...

Do I need the hardware to go with the program?

Ya, from what I understand, it's mostly software, the Y-looking thing is just to connect your guitar to the computer.

I am a guitarport owner. and I have to say the thing is pretty good. It is like a virtual amp, with effects. You can't record things with it though, that isn't what It is ment for. you use it with recording software though. all in all, it's worth the 150 bucks or whatever it is.

If you have any more questions, email me at Strangedejavu1928@yahoo.com I can give you a full account of my uses of it so far, pros, cons, and any problems.

Cory
