I played one yesterday and I must say it was amazing. Too bad I would have to save up another 2 months to buy one.

I just played a Taylor with an ES installed and plugged in, compared to a Fishman pick-up, and holy shit I crapped my pants. I'll take any Taylor with an ES in it and be very very very happy.

you do realize that #1 the reserve price isnt met yet and #2 theres always the chance for it being a fake.

Does anyone else realize that the 3-piece back on a Grand Auditorium(or whatever that model is....basically not a dreadnaught) looks terrible!??!?

Guys if you had a choice between saving more and getting this or picking up a Taylor 314 or 355 what would you do?

eh. i think you're going to get a balanced difference in opinion. personally i wouldn't bother with the 300 series and go straight for the 400 series if that's what you want. plus, a lot of people will take an HD-35 over a D-35 any day. just find a guitar store and play play play, and if you find one that you love, then take it. that's the best advice i can give you. you can listen to us argue with each other a thousand times, but it's up to the player to make the final choice, so get out there and play instead of waiting around for us to tell you which one you should get.

hehe, yeah, it is a bit intimidating, especially with a sales associate there listening to you. but don't worry about it. it's just you and your quest to get a new guitar. who cares what other people think of you or your playing? ;)

anyway, best of luck. let us know how it all goes. :)

Thanks, I wont be buying until I sell my UA-5 so any tapers out there want one, let me know. Unless its the taylor because they are less than the martin. But either way I will have a decision today.
