seriously, though. I'm looking for a guitar that gives kinda a metallic sound..i know alot of people don't like it, but i cherish the sound...something about mid-priced, similiar sounding to the Gibson Chet, but something, again, mid-priced....any suggestions?

Check out rainsong guitars, they produce mostly graphite guitars and have been in the business for a while. Eddie Vedder bought a few. Check it out http://www.rainsong.com/.
