i just picked up my new 814ce 8)

i'll have to borrow my friend's camera to get some pics, cause all i have is my crappy webcam and it's not working out very well....

it was made on July 8, 2003....it's got the new tuners too. and this case is SOLID. it fits so snugly that it makes squeaky noises when you take it out.

ive only heard good things about the new tuners. supposedly theyre made by Ping (which usually isnt as good as Grovers), but the new tuners are as good or better than the Grovers.

i can only compare the tuners to my roommate's 310ce, which i havent seen since may, but i still think i like these tuners better....the grover still look better though. they tune easily and hold well, so far.

the strap peg on the ES, WOW...it's really wide and it took me like 5 minutes to get the strap on it. it's not coming off though. :lol:

:lol: you had that problem on the bottom peg too? hehe. i hadn't heard much about it and hadn't really given them a look...i was trying to stick it on...good ghandi the thing is wide. ;) but mine came off! talk about having to wear the strap in.

by the way, for those who dont like the new tuners, to replace them you have to drill holes, and you wouldnt want to do that would you :)
