What's the deal with Breedlove?
Every time I look on ebay, there are several up for auction running in the 4000 clam range. Has anyone played them? Are they handmade and rare as hell? Why are they so expensive? They look goofy to me.
Coffee should be dark as hell, strong as death, and sweet as love.

theyre not made as much as taylors or martins, hence the price. theyre supposed to be really good.... very earthy.

the deal with these guitars are that they rock!
i have played a few and the sound is crazy! very mellow tone and crisp, clean sound. easy to play. i'd say best for fingerpicking and classical guitar - not sure how durable they are and, at $3000 and up, i'd have trouble strumming away.
on a side note ... it seems that these guitars are the dream of serious players and the breedlove signature model .... madonna ... so many nights i wish i had her guitar skill! ha!
