Primarily electric player looking for first "good" acoustic
Primarily electric player looking for first "good" acoustic
Hi all, this is my first post here... I am no stranger to the guitar, as I have been playing for around 5 years, but primarily electrics (Fender Strat anyone??) and after listening (obsessing is probably the better word) to Dave and Tim live at Radio City on repeat for months I have decided that I need a good acoustic of my own. I have a cheap epiphone but it just doesn't have the magic mojo I am looking for. My budget is 900-1200ish US. Any recommendations or advice would be appreciated GREATLY. Thanks for your time..

I definitely support this post. Alvarez-Yairi's are also fine guitars. I know they can be upper end but I think some might be at the top of that price range?Klondog wrote:I'm a devoted fan of Alvarez guitars. I think you could get a really great sounding instrument of theirs for significantly less than $1k.
