Tim's Revers Delay Settings

On a lot of songs like "Betrayal" from Radio City Music Hall, Tim uses that DD-5 reverse delay setting. It sounds really cool and I love it a lot. I had a setting just like it saved on my Line 6 DL-4 pedal, but it got erased and I cannot get it back for the life of me.

The cool thing about that reverse setting he uses is that it's instantaneous, no lag or delay between when you hit the note and when you hear it. Does anyone else have a setting like this on their DD-5 or DL-4? I spent about an hour just now trying to get it back and I can't even get close...

If you're talking about the effect he's getting at the beginning of the song with a soft attack sound, he's doing volume swells on each note with a delay. I don't hear any reverse noises in there. He just turns the volume down at the strike of the note, the turns it back up so you get the decay but not the attack.

I bet you can emulate that with a reverse effect but I'm pretty sure tim was just doing the volume swell thingy. All you need is a volume pedal to achieve it. And a delay of some sort.
Here's a boss volume pedal.

Ya, I've gotten the same effect with volume swell delay on the DL4, but I somehow did it with the reverse delay and it sounded really cool and a bit different. I had to trick it with a combination of hitting the tap tempo really fast and changing a few setting at the same time, can't get it back....

I actually checked Tim's pedals in one of his small shows in LA, and he uses a DD7 now.
For the "violin effect" we usually sets

Level: 11
Feedback: 1
Delay time: Max
Mode: 800ms

He uses the reverse mode also (for instance in the The Maker solo of Radio City).
You have to use a DD5 or DD7 for this, because the DD6 repeats the "forward" part also (!).

Anyway, just some additional info.

Fluffy has said multiple times that Tim will never give up his DD5, I'd be shocked if he's using a DD7. Maybe as well as the DD5, but i high doubt he's replaced his old DD5.
