Martin DCXE X Series Cutaway Acoustic-Electric

Martin DXME Acoustic-Electric Guitar

Martin X Series OMCX1KE Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar

Martin DX1E Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar

Martin 00CXAE Acoustic-Electric Guitar

Martin DCX1KE Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar

Martin 000CXE Black Acoustic Electric Guitar

Price limit is $700.

Or should I go with a Taylor 110e?

I'd probably take those Martins over a 100 Series Taylor.

As for which Martin, you really just have to go play them and see what you like the best. You named guitars that are different body styles, do you know if you prefer a dread over an auditorium or other size?

None of the above. Find yourself a used Martin D-16GT for that price. Great guitars with all solid wood construction. Spruce over mahogany (which is becoming more and more scarce and is often substituted with sapele). Unless that is you want new. You listed a lot of different options...cutaway, on board electronics, dreadnought, OM, 00, 000, etc. Personally, if I was a one Martin man, I would opt for the dread. They probably the most versatile in the lineup and give you that nice Martin sound people often look for.

Another thing is I wouldn't buy a Martin with on board electronics. Taylors have better on boards. If you choose a Martin, have an aftermarket pickup installed. It's worth the little more money.
Martin HD-28V
Martin DM3MD
Martin HD-18JB
Martin 000-JBP
Martin 000-JBS
Martin D-16GT
Martin Sigma DR-41

I am a huge Martin fan, but I believe that the X series is not the best price/quality choice.
Either follow HD18JB suggestion, or take a look at Alvarez and Takamines...

I have both a Martin D16-RGT and a DCX1E. I love my RGT, but the DCX1E sounds just about as good and plays just as well.
