Larrivee are good. Guild too. I heard Goodalls were very good. Collings I heard were good. Santa Cruz too. I've never tried any of these, by the way. I've tried a few Taylors - a 310, a 714ce. I tried a few Martins. I wished I lived in the city or near one. I also heard that Breedloves were very lovely indeed.

Ken

two guitars
There are two guitars that make me drool
1. Our man dave's guitar that I happened to stumble upon on Ebay, it was the second best $2800 I ever spent
http://thepigdog.com/guitar/DM3MD
2. This however, is the best $2800 I ever spent, a handmade guitar made by one of my fathers guitar, this is the smoothest axe I have ever played. Check out the grain in the back and sides, it looks like a magic eye
http://thepigdog.com/guitar/DEW
enjoy,
Joe

MD220-OS : Maple tophow do they sound? How is your Cedar top D-7 respond to hard strumming?
And what the hell is Bubinga?it's used on the MD-50 I think

for the hard strumming, since i've bought it i've had no problem with that point....i use medium strings and i play mostly with a 0.1 mm ...ah man i forgot the word in english...in french its "pick"...
hum for the bubinga thing, its an african Rosewood man...
