mic an amp

What type of mics do you guys use for sending the amp sound through a pa system? Any suggestions on some quality ones? Also does anyone know which mic dave uses when he plays solo? Thanks!

Just about the gold standard for micing an amp is the Shure SM57.

I do, but it looked more like, "Yeesh what a fuck up" and not "yesssh" like I'd spell Michael's doing.

No problems though.
