?? For a new Electric Player
whats up guys im going tomorrow to make the last payment on my Elite Les Paul Standard(cherry burst if anyone cares), I also just got a used Fender Deluxe 90 DSP 90W amp. I have about $275 still saved after these purchases and Im wondering what kind of electric gear I should get with this $. What Effects pedals will I use most often, and what brand are the best to get. I really want to learn like Incubus, and Rage, 311, stuff like that. What accessories should I get otherwise, I really need some help, thanks.

First off, you may need some distortion if you don't have any on your amp. I picked up a Boss DS-1 that isn't too shabby, but I don't really know a lot about those. It was around $40. Next, 311 and Incubus both have a lot of psychedelic sounds that they get from their guitarists cool pedals. I have an MXR Phase 90 pedal which is one of the coolest pedals I've ever used. Both guitarists use those, and they sell for around $100 with the power supply. After that, you may want to buy a decent delay pedal, don't know a lot about those either besides that Einziger uses a Boss DD-5 I think, but they don't make those anymore. A DD-6 might do the trick, or a cheaper DD-3.
