A CAE Sound preamp has a unity-gain buffer that, when activated, maintains a consistent tone when volume is lowered. It also maintains signal strength and quality when running through multiple effects. It was important for Warren to have balance between the pickups, to have a smooth sound from the neck pickup, and that when you flip the pickup switch, it doesn't sound like you just switched guitars.

Really? I guess there are basically two schools of electrics, Fender and Gibson. I'll never be a Fender man. Single coils don't do it for me. And I find Fender guitars unplayable physically. I love my Gibson ES-137.

You would think that he would want something more unique.

My next electric will be a hollow body.. that les paul sunburst look is just so overused and typical for me.

The only non-strat guitar Id ever consider buying would be an 335. I hate Les Pauls with a passion, as well as telecasters

How can you hate the Telecaster? Definitive electric guitar sound if you ask me.

It is so twangy and just annoys me. I dont know, nothing has ever just sat right with me when Ive played one, and Ive played many. Most of my friends have tele's...I just dont like them.
