Ibanez GSR200

its a perfect beginner bass, and i like Ibanez, and i love the thing to death, but i was wondering what companies to drift towards since everyone claims to have the best this that and the other thing.

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

ive always thought of ibanez basses to be good. i cant really tell much of a difference between basses though... except for looks... when youre performing live i dont think people will be able to notice the difference between 2 basses..

Ernie Ball Music Man basses are really good. I like the Stingray series, very nice. Also I like the Fender Jazz basses, they're pretty sweet.

yeh both Fender Jazz and P basses sound pretty nice. It also depends a lot on the amp.

i went to the local guitar center...and played a couple of warwick basses in their sound room....MAN those things are incredible, not even a bit of fret/string buzz....smoothest thing i've ever played. stefan showed us what warwicks can do on LS. great stuff.
