Corrs on SNL

Unread post by PureDaveAddict » Wed Jun 04, 2003 7:08 am

I was just watching SNL today (host Ray Ramono) and I saw the the Corr's playing, the music didn't really catch my eye, but all of a sudden i saw the sweetest accoustic guitar I've seen. Has anyone seen this episode, or know what kind of guitar that was? It kinda looked like a taylor, but i haven't seen any Taylors in that color. Ughh, that was such a fricking cool guitar :P

I decided to make a research project out of this. And failed.

Anywho, I tried looking up what kind of guitar it is, and apparently no one cares :?

But, in the "Credits" on their website, they list Guild/Fender guitars. This doesn't necessarily mean that the one you saw is a Guild or Fender (pretty much the same thing), but it might be.

I've always thought that guild was owned by fender.

Guild used to be a super exclusive, small batch type of independent guitar company, but then fender decided to upgrade their stake in the acoustic market. Instead of doing the work themselves, they just bought Guild and increased their production by about 1000%
