Sell my D35... or not?!

Unread post by sfmartins » Thu Dec 28, 2006 12:20 pm

I bought my D35 in the States with a Fishman Premium Blender for ~$2200, 2 years ago. Back then that was Eur1900.

Now I have this Portuguese guy that is interested in it and wants to give me Eur2000.

If I sell it, I am sure I am gonna buy a new D35, but with a pick-up that does not need a hole in the wood!

Since dollar is pretty weak, I can now get it for ~Eur1700, which means I'll earn additional Eur300, or ~$400.

Should I sell it or not?! Please help! :?

The guys is not that dumbass. Here in Portugal the guitar is above Eur2500 without pickup. Even shipped from Germany it would be Eur2000 without pick-up...

You guys are lucky bastards in the US!

I will definitely try to sell it then!

I'd sell it...yours fell down the stairs or something right ? ( did it get scratched? )

so you'll be buying a new one without the fishman and still have some $$ left

I guess the guy doesn't want it now, he found a nice deal for this guitar:

http://www.coleclarkguitars.com/product_fl3.asp

It's an Australian brand, used by a couple of known artists.

Is this a good guitar guys?

PS: And yes, mine has a little bump on the neck :(

just tell him he could have a fat lady or a MARTIN.
if he doesnt understand this then keep your guitar. remember, it sounds better with age. also, bumps add character. have you seen hendrix's, SRV's, or any other bad ass guitarist's axe, it has been beaten to hell!

That is true... the only thing is probably the pick-up. But anyway, I like the blender a lot, it's just that "hole in the wood" that I should have thought of before...

It seems the guy does not want it after all, so I'll just keep it as it is. Anyway, it is still for sale in some Foruns, just in case someone shows up with a nice offer!

Thanks anyway guys for opinions!
