Taylor 210
Taylor 210
Im debating between getting the Taylor 210 and 110. The 210 is all solid wood and comes with a hardshell case for $200 extra. Would I be stupid to not spend the extra $200?
I wouldn't say stupid, but foolish yes. Nothing beats the sound of a solid wood guitar. Trust me, you won't regret spending the extra 2 hundred.
My guitars:
Taylor 714
Taylor 614ce
Martin Sigma DR-41
Epiphone Chet Atkins SST (Ebony)
Danelectro 56-U2 reissue
Fender American Deluxe Strat

Yes... if that's all you have I would definitely look at getting a used guitar. If you check different forums you will be able to find a good deal I'm sure.
My brother and I both just bought guitars off the internet. I was a little nervous, but at most message boards you can tell who is trust worthy (many of them have sold on the boards before so you know it will work, and a lot of them have good ebay feedback too)
I couldn't be happier with my guitar
I played a Taylor 210 when I was looking for guitars and I was not impressed. I played a 310 that was alright, but not as good as Larrivee.

Anyway, check the usual thread (thanks mangold!):

As you can see, <$500 there are no Taylors or Martins better than other brands. These are best for medium-high end guitars.
Good luck man!
