I've got a standard Seagull S6+. For about $200 ($100 for installation + $100 for a Fishman Matrix or a K&K Pure Western Mini) I can make it an acoustic electric.
or
I could sell my Seagll S6+ used (probably get about $200 for it) and spend about $400 on a new A/E.
Do you guys have an opinion on what's better?
Thanks

i would keep your guitar, for 400 you wont find an A/E worth a shit. Plus aftermarket pickups are ususally better anyways.
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

Yeah, I also think it is better to install the pick you want and not the one that already comes with the guitar (unless that's the one that fits you best, of course)
