Guitar recommendations for beginners

Unread post by aubdmb » Wed Nov 29, 2006 2:31 pm

Looking to get started (or back into) playing and on the verge of purchasing a new guitar. I've been doing some research, reading various forums, visited several local guitar shops etc. Looking to spend some where in the $150 - $200 range.

Any advice/suggestions/opinions regarding brand, model, style (dreadnaught vs. cutaway)?

Thanks

Try Washburns and Yamahas at that price range

A Jumbo might be a good guitar to start with...
