Whats it for?
All i will say is the behringer equipment i have had in the past has been spotty. Some of it is great and some just sucks.
The reviews look good though but i did see a running theme of "its fun to practice with, but i wouldn't gig with it"
If it is for an electric guitar, i would save 100 more and get a fender tube amp because the tone is better and warmer.
I am not a huge fan of onboard effects cause you look like a jackass fiddling with your amp between every song. Pedals are the way to go and really you shouldnt need that many. You can get a great overdriven sound out of an amp just by fiddling with the volume controls.

Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

it comes with a dual pedal for switching, and even better i've got one that came with another amp that has four pedals on it for effects switching, so i'll be ok there
this will probably just be for me in my house, and yeah i don't want to fiddle with the knobs every time i want to change something
i picked this one because i also have a behringer acoustic amp and i really like it, i also picked it because of having all of the effects built in that i'd want to get in some way, shape, or form at some point in time
it's also not too pricey

2 x 10" Jensens...
The speakers on that thing suck.
Behringer rips off popular designs, cuts huge corners and manufactures all of their stuff overseas. I've had terrible experiences with their products. Repairing them is a bitch. It's basically disposable equipment.
I hate to say it, but you get what you pay for.

I'm a VOX man, but Fender has a lot of solid amps. It's all about the sound you're going for. If it's purely acoustic, try looking at the Fender Acoustasonics.
I'd rather spend $300 on an entry level Fender amp and be able to turn around and sell it or trade it in on an upgrade a year later. Like guitars, I never buy an amp based on looks and/or online reviews. In the same vein, I never buy something like that without playing it first.
Good luck.

Fenders and voxs are both great. marshalls as well, though their tube amps are very pricey. I got my fender blues jr for 350 and love it to death. great amp for recording and its loud enough (suprisingly at 30 watts) to play a small venue without miking it.
