Cort makes some pretty cheap, but nice guitars. My bro bought one for about $350 that sounds pretty decent.

I don't own any seagulls, but the ones I have played have all been excellent. Look at an s6, you can find them with spruce or cedar tops, mahogony back and sides. Cutaway and electronics are going to cost you more of course. I'd reccomend seagull or alvarez for sure.

i dotn think he's plugging in at campfires.

I would say an Alvarez AD60, you can get the regular dread with no electronics for under $300. great guitar.

i would say seagull. they are cheap, well made and have solid wood tops in that price range. my buddy has one and i love it. but if you havent played one play it first, they have wide fretboards and i wouldnt want you to pick up a guitar on ebay taht wasnt what you expected

Hey man, I work @ long & mcquade music store in Toronto, I would definetley recomend a seagull, or anything else made by godin guitars (they have 6 different lines). Seagulls do however have the wider fretboard, so definetly try one first.

I would recomend looking into the Art & Lutherie guitars. They are Godin's entry level guitars. You can get either solid Spruce or Cedar top, they come in 4 different colours or in natural finish. We sell them for $250 Can. and in my opionion they are an amazing guitar for a decent price.

Last time I checked, they were around $200... Are you thinking of something else?
