Martin D-15 or DM
I have narrowed it down to these 2, about a 50 dollar price difference with the d-15 being the more expensive but they are both at the top of my price range, what do you guys think? I know it is my personel opinion that matters but I am just looking for opinions of people who have these guitars or know about them.

thats a really tough choice, i myself dont like the D-15 because of the mahogany top, however if youre going to get a martin it should be of solid woods not just laminates. if the back/sides were solid on the DM i would say get that, but dont waste your money on laminated guitars. in this case, i am undecided.

I'd go with the D-15. I love the fact that it's solid mahognay- for it's looks and tone. It's really a great guitar and it's a good price. I'm tryin to get my parents to buy me one as a graduation gift. Have fun with your search.

I went and played both again today and I think it is going to be the d-15, I like the looks of the DM better but what is a guitar really for? I'm sure the darkness will grow on me with the awesome classical gas tone I was getting ( I didn't have a plectrum because it wasn't a planned stop = ( )

no, but I have a pick in every pair of jeans, and they usually don't fall out in the wash. and if they do, i find them in the dryer. anyway, it was partly a joke, even though i do keep them there in between my playing time during the day.jsgksu wrote:You wear the same pair of jeans everyday? I carry the same wallet with me everywhere I go, more convenient, dont have to switch it and wont ever forget it or be without it.

i usually have between 1 and 6 picks on my person at any one time. i keep 2 in my wallet. and then i usually find one tangled up in my keys, and i'l find one in my back jeans pockets. on ocassion i'll find another one in my other back pocket. and then there might be one or two in my back pack. they seem to be littered about in my apartment and car. i can't remember the last time i couldn't find a pick in my couch. it's a good thing though cuz i'm always ready to play. i could be completely naked and i'd probably find one in my hair.
i've had groups of people over and there is many times someone (usually a lady) who will find one and say "like what are these little things. they are everywhere in here" and then i rock for her. 8)
i have so many cuz every time i go to the music store i buy strings or picks just cuz i know i'll need them. but at least strings wear out.
