Ska Guitar
Hey I was wondering what kind of pedals or what you need to do to get that skanky sound when playing ska guitar? Thanks

IMO ska music is pretty hard to write (a catchy riff) and not that easy to play and sing at the same time.praisedave wrote:aw i got much love for hootie, i just never found the guitar to be my favorite part of ska.Machtimus wrote:I hope you die at a Hootie and the Blowfish concert for that one.praisedave wrote:why would you want to is the question hahaha

negastory good buddy. you obviously don't listen to a lot of ska. Maybe classic ska like madness was liek that, but a lot of really good catchy new ska has a mix of some barre chords, but a lot of strange fingerings on the bottom 3 strings, and nowhere near the same strum pattern, I don't see how you can say that unless you are just talking out of your ass.filmdude100cms wrote:how? its damn barre chords and the same strumming pattern?czech wrote:IMO ska music is pretty hard to write (a catchy riff) and not that easy to play and sing at the same time.praisedave wrote:aw i got much love for hootie, i just never found the guitar to be my favorite part of ska.Machtimus wrote:I hope you die at a Hootie and the Blowfish concert for that one.praisedave wrote:why would you want to is the question hahaha
