I am starting lessions next friday, and before i do that i need to buy a guitar, I have know idia what to buy. I am looking in the 200-300 price range. It would be a great help if you guys would help me out and give me a few brand names. thanks

you wanna be lookin at the economy section and by god ACOUSTIC. so many beginners wanna play electric but that can handicap alot of players as they improve

Shall I recomend an Alvarez RD8? Its a great buy! It has good quality for its price, and it comes with a hardshell case! These range from $200-230.

pay no more than $180 for an rd8.

I also really suggest a washburn 100 series. damn good cheap guitar

Out of your price range. They have cheap ones, but a cheap Martin is not a good guitar, theres much better guitars then Martin in your price range.

I have the RD8. I love it. It sounds amazing and got it new for 200 after tax and some strings/strap/and some other small things. I really suggest you take a look at one cause I do not regret getting one at all.
