Hi, I was wondering if anyone has a D-16RGT, and if so, if they could post pics of the top, back and sides. I've decided not to get a Taylor 214 as my new guitar and go for this. I just want to see what the b&s look like.

Just to let you know that I've checked that precise guitar last year, and was going to buy it. I've ended up earning more money and going for a D35.

Anyway, after a lot of research in stores and forums, I found the D-16RGT to be a really great guitar!

Congratulations and good luck!

Thanks a lot for the pics and info guys. I just need to save up like $200 more and I can get it. I know this has been asked before, but is there anything wrong with the satin finish?

Hey man, i just got a Martin DC-16RGTE and it is awesome. I bet the one your looking at sounds fuller but even with the electronics and cutaway on mine, its still loud and very warm. The satin finish is completely fine. Ill admit i was scared to get a satin finish but they hold up just as well(especially on the back of the guitar where my belt rubs sometimes). Id recomend my model to you but if your not looking for one with built-in electronics then its not neccesary. I totally recommend it over the taylor 214. The satin on the neck usually rubs to gloss after playing it awhile too.

the guy did it on purpose, he's left handed and i think wanted to see what people would say to it, since it was posted on myspace. i also said that the picture was mirrored.

I have a D-16RGT and I love it. One of these days I'll get a pickup installed in it. I'm glad I went with the Rosewood instead of the GT with Mahogany. Definitely bassier.
