Volume pedal
Hello all!
I'm a Portuguese guy that is trying to reach Tim sound on L@LC. After some research, it seems Tim uses only a Boss DD-5 (discontinued) and a Morley Volume Pedal.
I already have a DD-6 and it rocks! Great to do those repeats on Stream...
Now I need the volume pedal. It is very difficult to find Morley here in the stores (I haven't found any). I've only seen Behringer and Boss pedals.
What do you think is the best option to use with my Martin D-35?
Thank you very much, in advance!

I just saw Tim live and he is now using an ernie ball volume pedal in conjunction with his dd6. I picked up the ernie ball jr for 69.99 american and it works great. Honestly the boss or the behringer would work, volume pedals are very simple though i think boss makes higher quality stuff than behringer.
Here is a link of a little song i made with my dd3 and the ernie ball

I'm looking at getting a decent looping pedal that I can layer 10 or so quick 2 bar loops on and play simultaneously. It would be nice if I could feed a mic through it too...any suggestions from people who have one themselves?

I use the line 6 DL 4 and love it, however i can usually only get about 6 or so loops before the first ones start to fade away. the boss pedal i beleive has infinite amounts of loops so check that out. As for a mic, i just run my guitar and mic to a mixer and then put that to the looper so i can loop guitar and voice a la howie day.

umm i think the rc 20 is just a precursor... ive never seen one and i dont think they're in production anymore.... but i could be completely wrong...SillyPutty wrote:What's the difference between the Boss rc20 and the Boss rc20 XL? I assume it has something to do with capacity but any details would be appreciated.

Fair enough - the regular rc20 is about $90 CAD less on eBay, which is why I ask. I'm tempted to go for that one and save myself the cash (~$120 for the rc20 versus ~$230 for the rc20 XL, all Canadian funds).praisedave wrote:umm i think the rc 20 is just a precursor... ive never seen one and i dont think they're in production anymore.... but i could be completely wrong...SillyPutty wrote:What's the difference between the Boss rc20 and the Boss rc20 XL? EDIT: My math sucks.

I have the RC20 and I love it. I got it off of ebay a couple years ago before the RC2O XL came out and saved about $100 on it. I think the XL can loop for 15mins and the regular RC only 5mins. I'm sure there are some other things that they improved on.SillyPutty wrote:Fair enough - the regular rc20 is about $90 CAD less on eBay, which is why I ask.
