Hey all! Happy Holidays to all here before I disucuss this guitar! This is always a great time of year to be thankful for what we all have (outside of guitars!) I wish everyone here nothing but a safe, warm, and happy holidays with their families.

As for this guitar.....where do I begin? I ordered it from Maury's Music and I couldn't have asked for better service. It really felt more like a friendship than a business transaction. I ask some pretty annoying ?'s throughout guitar buying and he never made me feel bad at all. He addressed every concern I had, gave me an incredible deal, and set the thing up to play great!

This guitar is a hard one to describe. Next to my D-28 Marquis it is obviously a hugely different guitar which is expected. It's very very versatile. It takes strumming quite well and when you do lead licks or fingerstyle it's very focused and the notes just pop right out with great separation. The tone itself is hard to describe for some reason. I guess the alpine spruce is to thank for it but the thing is really warm and almost dark sounding to me with overtones galore! I had the chance to very briefly sit down with some friends in a very short jam session last night and somehow someway this guitar just has the ability to cut right through all the "noise" we were producing. It was awesome!

This guitar is an absolute keeper and I have to admit over just the past year along I have gone from a Taylor junkie to a Martin junkie. I will always keep my Taylor 12 string but my W15 might be shown the door very very soon in favor of another Martin. I don't know if my tastes are changing, or if Martin is on the up while Taylor is on the down, or a combo of the two.......but i'm a Martin man through and through! These things just have so much heart and soul to them and I can't get enough of it! Please know i'm not putting Taylor down at all. This is just one poor man's opinion.

Thanks for listening! Here are some pics (sorry for the bad quality)

If you are interested in one of these and find one go for it! You will not regret it!

Thanks for all the support guys. This guitar is more responsive than most anything I've ever played. I feel I really lucked out with it. The alpine spruce top makes the difference in my mind. If anyone can get their hands on one of these DO IT!
